A State of Mind

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don’t
If you like to win, but think you can’t
Its almost a cinch you won’t

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost;
Far out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will;
Its all in the state of mind

If you think you are out classed, you are;
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself
Before you can win the prize

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.

    @anonymous : while your eloquent language leaves much to be desired, it speaks volumes about ur intelligence. next time, be sure to get your facts right before you begin to swear. That poem WAS NOT written by Vasanti Ma’am.. it was just submitted by her, from Chicken Soup for The Soul.. ask her yourself if you please. and next time, build up the courage to leave your name – of course, cowards generally dont, so I’m not expecting you to.
